Small Children Are Most Comfortable in Familiar Spaces... And You Are, Too!

This sweet family is getting comfortable in front of ZCC cameras! Family photos are extremely important to Vanessa, and Mark is super supportive of that fact. He's also amazing at getting little Allie to laugh! Take a peak at their front yard holiday photo shoot.

A warm-up family portrait, easily snagged when dad was talking nature with Allie, and I told mom to pop in line behind them. All the cuteness!

The Setting

Even though super-mobile Allie did extremely well on her first photoshoot at a local public park, we decided that an at-home shoot might make things even smoother. This would mean less stress for mom & dad in particular, because once everyone was dressed, all they had to do was walk out their front door! No need for snacks in the car on the way to the photo venue or forgetting a favorite stuffed animal at home.

Nature Girl

Because we were in her own front yard, Allie immediately began to play and interact with nature, just like she does every single day. This made for some adorable props! Also, check out her GORGEOUS brown eyes!

Play Time

I encouraged mom & dad to play with Allie like they normally would. These are just a very few of the many precious shots we got of family play time.

It looks as if she can't decide who to kick the ball to! :)

A sweet moment of curiosity and joy.

Daddy's Girl AND Mama's Mini!

The GIGGLES!

This girl loves staying glued to her Momma's side!

Holly Jolly

What's easier than playing with some holiday flare on your own front steps??

That's the One!

So let's be real... toddlers don't last forever in photo sessions! This gem was snapped juuuuustttt before Allie was DONE. But you know what was GLORIOUS for mom & dad? All of Allie's creature comforts were about 10 feet away inside that front door. And mom got the family-photo-on-the-family-swing portrait that she'd be hoping for. Win-win!
