A family photo session featuring the cutest pup and her parents

Jess & John have been together for ages, but with the addition of their sweet rescue, Winnie, earlier this year they thought it was time for some updated family pics. We were overjoyed to help them with this process!

The Setting

Since Winnie is only about six months old and still learning to socialize outside of her little family, Jess was a little nervous about taking pictures with her out in public. So we helped her pick a secluded little spot in town that was absolutely perfect! We roamed around for an hour completely undisturbed. (Just goes to show that we'll help pick the perfect photo spot for you and your family. 😎)

The Family Portrait

Honestly, there were so many great shots from this sesh, it was hard to pick just one "family portrait"! But we love this shot on the sidewalk of a picturesque little street in Wilmington. The whole hour was like being out for a little family stroll.

John's Always Here for the Laugh

For anyone who has known John for more than a few minutes, they know he's the one to turn to to get folks to laugh and loosen up. We may have prompted him to tell a joke or two at first, but after that he was a natural at helping Jess show off her true, happy self. And Winnie was just happy to be there with her mom and dad!

All the Love

Let's talk about this precious moment and how content Winnie was! Though the swing was a new experience for her, she was calm and happy especially when being showered with affection.

The Best Good Girl

Smart as a whip and definitely treat motivated, Winnie was able to show off one of her tricks.

A Relaxing Mid-Walk Moment

Pawsing.... excuse us, PAUSING in the middle of the field to take a tiny break from her walk, Winnie shows off her two favorite humans!

Family Cuddle Party

The trio took some time to snuggle on a blanket, and we loved being able to capture some detail shots of this pup close up!

Adoration

Jess & John are so relaxed & easy together, and it showed up in some beautiful shots like this one! We love seeing the adoration on Winnie's face, too.

A Successful Family Walk

Winnie receives all the praise for being such an amazing girl out on a walk in a new place.

Any fan of The Princess Diaries knows that the measure of a kiss is a good foot pop! We love the joy of this last shot on the way back to the parking lot. And who can resist that perfectly photogenic Winnie?? Not us!
